{"id":1823,"date":"2010-06-05T14:04:34","date_gmt":"2010-06-05T21:04:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.landspeople.net\/abi\/?p=1823"},"modified":"2010-06-05T14:06:11","modified_gmt":"2010-06-05T21:06:11","slug":"abis-first-high-fever-her-super-immune-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.landspeople.net\/abi\/?p=1823","title":{"rendered":"Abi&#8217;s first high fever &#038; her super immune system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Abi woke up with a high fever on Friday. \u00c2\u00a0It went as high as 103 F (39.44 C). \u00c2\u00a0Abi was very tired. \u00c2\u00a0After several calls to Abi&#8217;s doctors&#8217; office, Mommy &amp; Daddy realized that they had been giving her the wrong medicine. \u00c2\u00a0The fever was not going down with acetaminophen. \u00c2\u00a0They gave her ibuprofen in the evening, and it immediately went down. \u00c2\u00a0She got a second dose of ibuprofen around 12:30AM.<\/p>\n<p>Abi then woke up on Saturday fever-free. \u00c2\u00a0She has not had any medicine whatsoever. \u00c2\u00a0Her highest fever was 99.6 F (37.55 C). \u00c2\u00a0It is now 5:03PM on Saturday and she has no fever whatsoever.
